Jenelle Beavers is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal in Washington, D.C. specializing in higher education strategy and operations, investigations, and compliance. She leads investigation and compliance matters related to the broad range of federal laws governing higher education, healthcare, and the private sector. As a former outside counsel, federal prosecutor, in-house university counsel, and university Vice President, Jenelle has deep expertise in the legal, governance, regulatory, and strategic aspects of university administration. She provides efficient, practical, and translatable delivery of risk analysis, root cause determinations, and strategies for her clients. 

Ms. Beavers earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri and a J.D. and MPH from the University of Michigan, serving on the Michigan Law Review. Jenelle sits on the board of the Unbound Book Festival and is a former member of the Missouri Supreme Court Commission on Racial and Ethnic Fairness.
