RBIJ Welcomes Two New Executives to Advisory Council: Jenelle Beavers from Alvarez & Marsal and Oliver Hudson, Independent Consultant
Washington, D.C., July 30, 2025 — The Responsible Business Initiative for Justice (RBIJ) is thrilled to welcome two leaders in justice system reform and workforce inclusion to its Advisory Council.
Jenelle Beavers is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal, specializing in investigations, and compliance. She leads investigation and compliance matters related to the broad range of federal laws governing higher education, healthcare, and the private sector. She also leads higher education engagements involving strategy, operations, governance and mergers and acquisitions. Before joining Alvarez & Marsal, Jenelle’s experience includes former outside counsel, federal prosecutor, in-house university counsel, and university Vice President.
“It is a tremendous honor to join RBIJ’s Advisory Council. RBIJ's model of realizing a world where everyone, including the vulnerable and disadvantaged, is able to participate and thrive in an ever-changing economy stands out for its ingenuity, its ambition, and its leadership. I look forward to continuing the work to champion solutions that coordinate business needs and policy solutions to promote justice and lift communities.”
Oliver Hudson is a U.K. based independent consultant with a focus on foundations and civil society organizations, primarily working on organizational issues. He is also on the Independent Monitoring Board of a London prison, which monitors and reports how men are treated and supported during their incarceration. Previously, he has worked for Conectas Human Rights in Brazil, initially as editor of the Sur International Journal for Human Rights and latterly leading their institutional development efforts. He has also worked for the United Nations Development Programme in Brussels.
“I am incredibly happy to be joining an organisation whose values so closely align with my own—especially when it comes to protecting the dignity of individuals impacted by the prison system and championing inclusive hiring practices within the private sector. It’s a privilege to contribute to work that not only seeks justice, but also builds pathways to opportunity and belonging.”
“We are thrilled to welcome Jenelle and Oliver to RBIJ’s Advisory Council,” says CEO Maha Jweied. “We look forward to their leadership and expertise in furthering our work in both the U.S. and the U.K. justice systems. Their backgrounds and organizational knowledge will provide fresh insights to ensure RBIJ is successful in our mission to expand opportunity and justice for all.”
Beavers and Hudson join current RBIJ Advisory Council members Conroy Boxhill, Dr. Marvin D. Carr-Ligons, Michelle Cirocco, Paul Cowley MBE, Beth Henderson, Ken Oliver, Keilon Ratliff, Dr. Topeka K. Sam, and Jo-Ann Wallace. More information about the RBIJ Advisory Council can be found at rbij.org/directors-advisors.
